What We Do

Founded in 2002, Hope Partnership for Education is an independent education center that serves children, families, and adults in eastern North Philadelphia who live below the poverty level and have struggled in traditional educational settings.

In partnership with our neighbors, we offer:

  • An extended day/extended year middle school program for boys and girls in grades 5-8 which maximizes the academic, physical, social and spiritual potential of each student;
  • A support program which follows students through high school graduation; and,
  • Adult education which enhances the family and neighborhood involvement in the learning process with such offerings as GED, basic literacy, computer, and ESL classes.
