Patterned after a model developed by the Nativity Mission Center in New York City, Hope Partnership for Education is a member of The NativityMiguel Network, a national association of independent schools and educational centers (www.nativitymiguelschools.org). Each center has its own distinctive identity, mission and character, but all maintain the same emphasis of:
- Quality education with a focus on the academic, physical, social, moral and spiritual development of students
- Focus on students in their middle school years
- Serving students of low-income urban families, who would not otherwise have access to such an education
- Not tuition driven
- Faith-based
- Small classes
- Extended school day and school year
- Strong involvement from both parents and community volunteers
- Support of its graduates during their high school career
The values that support the work of Hope Partnership and which provide the touchstone for students, staff, and supporters are:
Respect...Academic Excellence...Compassion...Hospitality...Joy...and Hope
